To start my club, I sent an email to SUUSA and asked for the requirements to start a club. I followed their instructions, wrote a constitution, and submitted an application through the SUU website. Then I got started right away. I reserved a time and place to hold meetings, learned some new stretches, made flyers, told all my friends, and even had a few practice sessions while I waited for SUUSA to get back to me. Once I received their confirmation email, my club was official, and I started holding real meetings. Attendance was pretty scarce. Don't tell Chartwells, but I started making waffles at the end of each meeting to encourage attendance. It was very effective.

Each meeting was a little different, with a different focus for each one. They all began with a warm-up, which is critical for a good stretch. Then we went through a series of dance and yoga stretches, and we took our time with each one. At the end of each meeting, everyone who attended felt more limber, and relaxed.
